Kitchen Supervisor

This is a culinary position that requires good cooking skills and kitchen management experience. This includes taking inventory, ordering supplies, performing menu prep duties and ensuring quality control and adherence to recipes. We are looking for a team player with the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties

  • Set up work stations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes

  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work area

  • Take note of any low or product shortages and add to order lists

  • Responsible for some line cook duties

  • Works closely with and reports to the Kitchen Manager to set and meet prep quality standards

  •  Responsibilities will include inventory, ordering, kitchen and stock organization, etc

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a FOODSAFE certification or be able to get one before hire

  • At least 3 years of experience in the kitchen industry

  • Able to work a flexible schedule

  • Excellent people skills; able to project a friendly and helpful manner at all times

  • Strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills

  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds

  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for up to 10 hours a day

  • Available weekends, holidays and evenings

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • $24/hr + weekly tips

  • Benefits after 3 months

  • Potential for staff accommodation

  • 50% off all food and house draft/non-alc beverages, other discounts apply towards liquor, wine and merchandise.

Line Cook / Prep Cook

  • Full time (4 days a week)

  • Kitchen experience preferred

  • Fast-paced, team-focused environment

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and communicative

  • Able to multitask and work well under pressure

  • Flexible availability (mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays)


Compensation and Benefits:

  • $21/hr + weekly tips

  • $22/hr + benefits after 3 months

  • Potential for staff accommodation
